Interested in ensuring the timely, high‑quality delivery of innovative products by preparing them for production, supporting manufacturing, and optimizing internal processes?

Manufacturing Engineer

Summary

As a Junior Manufacturing Engineer, you are literally at the heart of our production process. You understand how the production process should be designed, and you spend most of your time preparing our products for manufacturing. In addition, you work closely with the production team, your fellow Manufacturing Engineers, and other Engineers to develop each product’s production process into one that is ready for volume manufacturing.

Together with your colleagues, you ensure that our customers receive our innovative and complex products on time and with the right quality. You do this by preparing new and existing products for production, guiding them through the manufacturing process, assessing designs for manufacturability, implementing improvements in the production process, and performing related activities. The focus of this role is the internal customer.

This is what we offer you

  • A challenging and informal working environment within the Engineering department of an international organization.
  • Plenty of opportunities to develop yourself and grow.
  • Strong coaching and guidance in a growing company with a focus on people and sustainability.
  • A competitive salary, aligned with your knowledge and experience on a full‑time basis.
  • 27 vacation days, plus additional ADV days.

This is what you bring to the Team

  • A bachelor’s degree (HBO) with relevant work experience.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to maintain a clear overview.
  • Good communication and social skills, and a true team player.
  • You are driven and enthusiastic, have an open attitude, and are not afraid to ask questions.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Carrying out production preparation and technical support for new production (up to End of Life) for standard products, including machine programming.
  • Implementing changes to already established products, including creating work instructions, programs, tooling, labeling, process setup, routings (Infor), and conducting internal evaluations.
  • Supporting NPIs (New Product Introductions) on the production floor.
  • Acting as the point of contact from Production/Production Team for product‑related questions and processing feedback from production regarding internal issues.
  • Preparing the full production process from start to finish.
