Je begeleidt meerdere teams bij het leveren van innovatieve features voor ons digitale platform en borgt kwaliteit, performance en security. Met jouw leiderschap help je de frameworks en tools vorm te geven waarmee onze squads uitzonderlijke digitale ervaringen leveren voor onze miljoenen klanten (8 miljoen).

You & your role

Tribe Digital Platform is verdeeld in 5 areas, waarvan Guide & Engage er één is. Guide & Engage levert generieke features zoals search, products, help en settings voor zowel mobile als desktop, maar ook het content management platform en speciale features voor onze members en researchers.

• Lead teams to deliver high-impact features for the Guide & Engage area of the Digital Platform.
• Guide engineers in their professional development and recruitment of new talent.
• Ensure compliance with policies on risk, security, performance, and resilience.
• Closely cooperating with other Tech Leads and colleagues from the chapters business, architecture and design.

Top 3 Responsibilities

• Lead several teams in delivering features for the Digital Platform, focusing on continuous improvement and high-performance engineering.
• Guide engineers in their development, recruit new talent, and ensure compliance with risk, security, performance, and resilience policies.
• Collaborate closely with other Tech Leads and colleagues from business, architecture, and design chapters, ensuring alignment and innovation across the platform.

Within the CITO division Retail NL Tech, the domain Digital Platform is the main driver behind the digital experience of our 8 million customers and enabler of the most strategic objectives of Rabobank. Our squads work on a digital platform that provides the frameworks and tools for over 200 teams that build our modern digital experience, while ensuring the highest standards for quality, performance, and security.

The 20-30 colleagues of Guide & Engage are responsible for delivering generic features like search, products, help, and settings for both mobile and desktop, as well as the content management platform and special features for our members and researchers. Collaboration is our approach; as one decisive team within Rabobank.

You & your talent

As Tech Lead you have a high-tech savviness in the field of software development, security and performance. You are experienced in the agile way of working, understand the risk & compliance needs of a bank, and possess a broad interest and opinion on IT trends. You are a self-starter who can take ownership and has the intrinsic motivation to make a positive impact. You are experienced in hiring the right engineers and work with squads directly to make a positive impact for our customers.

• Academic working and thinking level.
• At least 2 years of experience in similar roles.
• Accustomed and comfortable with a “span of control” of approximately 20-30 employees.
• Knowledge of and experience with DevOps teams and scaled Agile.
• Relevant experience in software development and management.
• Experience in guiding DevOps teams.
• You have achieved demonstrable results by guiding teams towards autonomy and a high level of performance.
• Demonstrable affinity and passion for digitization and Cloud technology.
• Mastery of the English language (business level, writing and speaking).
• You take on a pivotal role by weighing interests and risks together with the business.
• You keep your back straight in difficult discussions.
• You quickly create overview and insight for yourself, direct colleagues and stakeholders.
• You can deal well with unexpected setbacks, incidents or calamities.
