As an Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating airfreight shipments with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring customer transit time requirements are met. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to manage bookings, documentation, and shipment monitoring, while driving operational excellence and compliance.

How you create impact

• Coordinate transport activities including bookings, documentation, and shipment monitoring.
• Ensure timely and accurate updates in KN systems, including financial data.
• Collaborate with Customer Care, Sales, Gateway, Customs, and Optimization teams.
• Handle deviations and escalate operational issues as needed.
• Secure buy rates and capacity with qualified carriers and partners.
• Support account implementation and process improvement initiatives.
• Maximise profitability through cost optimization and system automation.
• Ensure compliance with air transport regulations and KN standards.

What we would like you to bring

• Ideally minimum 2 years of experience in air logistics or freight forwarding.
• Educational background in Freight Forwarding or Logistics.
• Strong airfreight knowledge and understanding of industry-specific guidelines.
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities with suppliers and partners.
• Service-oriented mindset with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch.
