ABOUT THE JOB

  • Lead our distribution cost strategy, negotiating commission structures, incentive schemes, and contractual terms with third-party partners to reduce costs while maintaining revenue growth.
  • Maintain a consistent global view of cost-per-acquisition across all channels, from paid media and brand to commissions, promotions, and payment fees.
  • Deliver actionable insights on the performance and profitability of all sales channels, tracking key metrics at channel, market, and route level to support investment decisions.
  • Benchmark distribution models across markets, highlighting opportunities to lower costs and scale best practices while setting frameworks for channel prioritization.
  • Lead senior-level negotiations with key distribution partners, securing cost-effective commercial agreements that align with our strategic distribution goals.
  • Support the development of advanced performance measurement frameworks, fostering a culture of accountability and commercial excellence across the organization.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience in commercial finance, marketing performance, revenue management, or distribution strategy within the travel, airline, or ecommerce sector.
  • Strong understanding of airline seat-only distribution models including OTAs, metasearch, travel agents, and direct digital channels.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret complex cost structures, marketing performance data, and partner agreements.
  • Confident working with large datasets and turning insight into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, multinational environment with exposure to both central and regional teams.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence senior stakeholders without direct ownership of channels.
