Always looking for entrepreneurial working students to help grow Sweav

Start possible all year round

About Sweav

Sweav is a fast-growing tech platform and community, connecting A-player freelance strategy and M&A professionals with clients and projects.

Our purpose is to empower these A-players to take ownership of their time and career. So they can work where they make the biggest impact — and be a more productive member of society.

At the same time, we make it accessible for clients to work with these A-players. With a more flexible, human, pragmatic and cost-effective model than the traditional professional services firms.

Since launching in 2022, we’ve grown to a community of 350 freelancers and over 400 clients across private equity, corporates and scale-ups. We’ve doubled in revenue every year, and we expect to continue doing so. Sweav is currently with a team of 18.

About the job

We are hiring three Working Students to support Sweav’s growth across different domains. While you’ll share the same entrepreneurial environment and learning curve, each role has its own focus area:

1. Business Development

Help expand our network and support commercial growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify potential clients
  • (Re)activate potential clients through targeted (email) outreach and via warm introductions within the network
  • Retain current active clients through consistent and personalized engagement

2. Marketing

Contribute to brand visibility and high-quality lead generation.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute LinkedIn activities (posts, analytics, LinkedIn ads)
  • Coordinate content creation (posts, cases, interviews)
  • Prepare and schedule newsletters
  • Support brand initiatives, events, PR, and Google Ads

3. Tech & Automation

Help us scale by improving processes through automation and AI.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify opportunities to automate internal workflows
  • Support implementation of AI tools and integrations
  • Improve data flows and operational efficiency
  • Experiment with tools that enhance productivity across teams

Across all tracks, you’ll work closely with the founders and core team, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for ambitious working students who are eager to learn, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced scale-up. While the core profile is similar across roles, each one has its own focus.

Core profile (for all roles)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Final stage (or recent graduate) of a WO Master degree
  • Experience through internships and extracurricular activities
  • Available for 3 days per week for at least 4–6 months

Additional focus per track

1) Business Development

  • Commercially minded
  • Comfortable working with Excel or quick to learn

2) Marketing

  • Experience with LinkedIn and basic marketing tools (e.g., Figma, Canva, MailChimp)
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) is a plus
  • Degree preferably in marketing or communications field

3) Tech & Automation

  • Strong interest in AI, automation, and productivity tools
  • Curiosity about improving workflows and systems

What we offer

  • A high pace, rapid learning experience in a scale-up
  • Lots of freedom, room for initiative, and the opportunity to make real impact
  • Direct collaboration with the co-founders and other motivated working students
  • Flexible working days, with room to accommodate holidays, exams, and thesis work
  • A central A-location office space in Amsterdam
  • Free healthy lunch
  • Base salary of €18/hour (excluding 8% holiday allowance) for the first 6 months, increasing to €21/hour thereafter
