Join Nedap Healthcare as a Medior UX Designer

Do you want to contribute to the job satisfaction of healthcare professionals in the Netherlands? At Nedap Healthcare, we build technology that truly helps. Within the ONS Suite, we develop solutions that support and relieve healthcare professionals in their daily work. For the team working on ONS Planning, we are looking for an all-round Medior UX Designer with a strong focus on ideation and design, who always puts the user at the center.

As a Medior UX Designer, you are responsible for the entire design process: from the initial service blueprint to final delivery and adoption, in close collaboration with the team.

Your responsibilities

  • User research: You conduct targeted qualitative user research to gain a deep understanding of user needs.
  • Product vision: You support the Product Owner in (further) developing the product vision from a user perspective.
  • Design systems: You work with and contribute to design systems to ensure consistent, scalable, and efficient interfaces.
  • Interface design: You design and validate inspiring, user-friendly interfaces.
  • UX advocacy: You actively drive and promote UX within the development team.
  • Stakeholder management: You facilitate workshops and demos with internal and external stakeholders.

Your team

As a Medior UX Designer, you will be part of both the UX team and the Planning team within the Logistics Tribe of Healthcare. Together with four other UX designers, you are responsible for all logistics-related processes within the ONS Suite.

You will work closely with Product Owners and developers, while also actively collaborating with teams such as Account Management and Support.

Nedap has a strong international character with a diverse mix of people and cultures. From our headquarters at the Nedap Campus in Groenlo and 11 locations worldwide, we work on Technology for Life: technology that helps people be happier and more successful in their work.

Our offer

As a Medior UX Designer at Nedap, you will make a valuable contribution to our goal: making people happier and more successful in their professional lives. In addition to your salary, you are entitled to a thirteenth month, a good pension scheme, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a shareholder of Nedap. At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. That’s why, along with your colleagues, you decide on your own working hours and vacation days to maintain a healthy work-life balance. We also highly value personal and professional growth. You will receive a comprehensive introduction, and we encourage you to continuously develop yourself.

Required experience and skills

You are a Medior UX Designer who actively promotes UX and design processes within multidisciplinary teams. You take initiative, are proactive, and quickly identify the underlying needs of users. You effortlessly translate these insights into well-thought-out designs and clear user flows, and you are able to convincingly communicate your design decisions to the team.

In addition, you are a strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with different disciplines. You actively seek dialogue, can guide stakeholders through your design choices, and feel responsible for the quality and consistency of the user experience.

What you bring:

  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a UX designer, supported by a strong portfolio.
  • UX translation: Experience in gathering requirements and user needs and translating them into designs and flows.
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with Service Blueprints, User Journeys, and Personas.
  • Design tools: Extensive experience with Figma and working with design systems.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Communication: Excellent command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
  • Domain knowledge (nice to have): Affinity with or knowledge of logistics processes and/or healthcare is a plus.

Good to know: You are available for 32–38 hours per week. Hybrid (remote) working is common at Nedap; you and your team coordinate working hours to achieve a healthy work-life balance. You will be present at our campus in Groenlo at least one day per week.
