Tribe Investments is looking for a highly motivated and proven Area Lead for the Data, Insights and Reporting Area who is ready to leave a mark by building a data-driven and tech savvy culture! The Tribe consists of three Areas: 1) Sales, Service & Support, 2) Data, Insights & Reporting, and 3) Transaction Processing.

As Area Lead Data, Insights & Reporting, you are ultimately responsible for the vision, strategy, and delivery of all data, insight, and reporting products within the investment chain. You translate Tribe and Value Chain objectives into concrete roadmaps and deliver measurable value through client-centric data products, insights, alerts, and (periodic) reports. You lead a high-performing Area with product, data, and tech professionals and work closely with the other Areas and value chain partners to ensure user-centric and value-driven solutions while ensuring stability, flexibility and compliance in our end-to-end processes.

You and your job

As Area Lead Data, Insights & Reporting, you are part of the Tribe Leadership team and lead the Area Leadership Team. With 8 direct reports, multiple squads and applications, your responsibilities in this key position include:

• Set and execute a measurable, overarching strategy on investment data and cross-team data analytics;

• Drive client retention and growth by turning client and market insights into targeted actions leveraging new and existing capabilities;

• Deliver on-time mandatory internal and external reporting including regulatory reporting and alerting to AFM, DNB and JST;

• Ensure data quality and governance to facilitate access to management information in a highly standardized and secure way in line with bank standards;

• Collaborate with Segment Value Proposition to convert research and market insights into new propositions and product improvements;

• Shape IT Foundation alignment by ensuring platforms, standards and guidelines meet uptime, security and compliance with SLAs;

• Develop and build a high-performance team and embrace diversity and personal growth whilst providing direction and feedback and addressing performance proactively.

You and your talent

• Academic level of thinking and working, preferably a master’s degree or equivalent;
• Minimum of 6 years of leadership experience in data-driven environments, with clear ownership on delivery, budget, people and performance;
• Experienced working in (scaled) Agile set-ups;
• Proven track record in data management and analytics delivery;
• Strong stakeholder management in complex, regulated environments (large enterprise context);
• Experience in investment/wealth domain is a strong plus;
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across business, operations and external partners;
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
