Responsibility

The Plant Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all cable produced at the plant meets the highest quality standards and complies with regulatory requirements. This role oversees quality systems, drives investigation and improvement initiatives, and ensures customer satisfaction through robust quality processes.

Key Responsibilities for this role

• Quality Systems Management:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the plant’s quality management system in compliance with ISO standards and company policies.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and customer requirements.
• Process Control & Improvement:
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Audits & Compliance:
  • Plan and conduct internal audits; support external audits (customer and regulatory).
  • Ensure timely closure of audit findings and preventive measures.
• Team Leadership:
  • Manage and develop the quality team, providing training and guidance.
  • Foster a culture of quality and compliance across the plant.
• Customer & Supplier Interface:
  • Handle customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming material quality.

Skills and competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (if automotive), or relevant standards.
• Proficiency in quality tools (FMEA, SPC, PPAP, CAPA).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
• Lead Auditor Certification
