Join Air France-KLM’s Digital Finance and Procurement (DF&P) Organization

At Air France-KLM, our Digital Finance and Procurement (DF&P) organization—soon to be known as ‘Cockpit’—is the strategic knowledge center managing critical financial data. We act as the integrator between the user organization and internal/external IT suppliers.

As we transition our financial landscape to the Cloud (GCP), maintaining the stability and security of our current data pipelines is crucial. We are looking for a specialist who combines operational excellence with a sharp analytical mindset to ensure our business always has the data it needs to make decisions.

What will you do?

As a Business Product Analyst, you are the guardian of our financial application landscape. You act as the first and second line of support, ensuring the smooth and effective operation of business applications. You move beyond reactive support by analyzing root causes and helping us "shift left", preventing incidents before they occur.

Specifically, your responsibilities include:

  • User Access & Authorization Management (UAAM): You are responsible for ensuring secure and efficient user access. You define the scope of responsibilities, manage approval processes, and ensure strict adherence to security policies and audits. You grant access to specific applications where confidential information is stored (e.g., SELESTE, PowerBI Workspaces, Finance Data Hub).
  • Incident Management & Continuity: You lead the process of recovering from unplanned interruptions efficiently to minimize downtime. You monitor incidents in MyITService, prioritize them, and coordinate with Product Teams and Source Teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Data Quality Monitoring: You don't just fix errors; you monitor the health of our data pipelines. You track key metrics like data freshness, volume anomalies, and schema validation to catch issues before they impact the business. You ensure that expected datasets are received and validate data against expected ranges.
  • Deployment & Configuration: You play a key role in the deployment management process, ensuring that new software releases and changes are documented, tested, and introduced without disrupting operations. You maintain system consistency by identifying and controlling changes throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement: You actively contribute to building a robust support chain. You create and maintain "Playbooks" and knowledge articles (e.g., in Confluence) that standardize incident resolution and empower the team.

Where do you land?

You will be part of the DF&P Controlling & Reporting team (soon to be Cockpit). You will join a team of BAs and FAMs dedicated to supporting specific applications and data products.

  • Culture: We are in a phase of "Shifting Left", thus moving from reactive firefighting to proactive prevention. You will work in a dynamic environment where you are encouraged to take ownership of the support chain.

Your profile

We are looking for a structural thinker who loves order and efficiency. You are not afraid to dig into a technical error message, but you also understand the business impact of a delayed financial report. You are eager to build processes where they currently don't exist.

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO) in Information Management, Business Administration, or IT.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in Functional Application Management, Business Analysis, or Information Management.
  • The "Investigator" Mindset: You are good at identifying the root cause of problems. You prefer automating a check over performing it manually every day.
  • Tech Savvy: You have experience with incident management tools (e.g., MyITService/ServiceNow) and knowledge of SQL or data warehousing concepts is a plus.
  • Process Builder: You have an affinity for documenting processes, creating runbooks, and structuring knowledge.
  • Communication: You have excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a strong benefit), enabling you to coordinate between technical developers and business controllers.
