Do you want to contribute to a sustainable and safe world as a chemical process specialist? Are you ready to support operators and ensure that they execute your processes flawlessly, without direct line management responsibility? And does the idea of organizing your own workday flexibly appeal to you? Then we are looking for you!
You will become the specialist within Aeronamic in the field of chemical surface treatments. From anodizing to passivation, and from cleaning to painting, you ensure that all processes meet the highest standards. This takes place in a dynamic environment where production and quality go hand in hand. You contribute to the continuous improvement of chemical processes, with a strong focus on a sustainable future.
What are your tasks and responsibilities?
You will work with a variety of chemical processes, such as cleaning, anodizing, phosphating, painting, and pickling, each with its own strict standards and regulations. You ensure that operators are not only properly instructed, but that the processes are also continuously optimized. In addition, you have an advisory role towards management when it comes to investments in new chemical processes and innovative technologies.
No two days are the same in this role. One day you may start with a walk through the production area to check whether all chemical processes are running smoothly. Operators approach you with questions, and together you analyze the situation. You then dive into the documentation: work instructions are updated and preparations are made for an upcoming audit, which you will lead yourself. These may be internal audits, as well as important external audits conducted by international customers or certification bodies such as Nadcap. You ensure that Aeronamic complies with all requirements and that the processes are up to date and well documented.
You will also be involved in:
Together with a colleague who already fulfills this role, you will form the main point of contact in this field, complementing each other in knowledge, experience, and approach. This means plenty of room to learn and grow, as well as the opportunity to take responsibility and make a real impact on the processes. You will work closely with operators and other specialists on the floor every day, ensuring you stay connected to practical operations. Due to the upcoming departure of one of the two Chemical Process Engineers, there is now an opportunity to strengthen the team, with Aeronamic explicitly open to both experienced professionals and juniors who want to develop further in this role.
Aeronamic is known for its excellent employment conditions – even better than the Metalektro Collective Labour Agreement – and the fun extras they offer their employees.

To reward this, you will receive an annual year-end bonus of 3% of your gross annual salary in November, a mid-year bonus of 4% in July, and an additional variable performance-based bonus of up to 3%. Employees are truly valued here!
Day shift work with flexible hours: A minimum 32-hour workweek, with flexibility to arrange your own working hours. You can start between 07:00 – 10:00, creating an 8-hour workday depending on your chosen start time.
Health insurance contribution: Aeronamic values your health, providing a monthly contribution of €176.56 gross towards your health insurance.
Favorable pension scheme: Aeronamic pays 77% of your pension premium, more than most employers, which positively affects your gross-to-net salary ratio.
