Join Robeco’s IT Project & Portfolio Management Team

Department

The IT Project Manager is part of the IT Project & Portfolio Management team within the Robeco IT organization. The team consists of the Head of IT Project & Portfolio Management and 4 IT Project Managers (including this vacancy). The team is responsible for both IT portfolio management and managing strategic, multidisciplinary (international) IT projects. We do this in close collaboration with departments across Robeco, including Sales & Marketing, Investments, Product Management, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Risk, as well as our IT teams.

IT portfolio management is responsible for defining, managing, and monitoring the 3-year IT roadmap. We safeguard the prioritizing of projects based on strategic goals, ensuring alignment with business objectives, allocating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring that the portfolio delivers value to the business. We report on status to strategic, tactical, and operational levels. Stimulating the use of standardized methodologies and principles, maintaining hygiene, and focusing on transparency in metrics to gain insights into progress and predictability are core to the success of IT portfolio management.

IT project management involves managing large and complex cross value stream IT programs and projects, contributing to technological excellence and innovation to support our asset management operations.

  • Engage with the team to coordinate tasks and address blockers; develop awareness of team dynamics.
  • Apply basic templates or frameworks (e.g., RAID logs, status reporting).
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and basic data models to support decision-making.
