If you’ve ever paid other users on platforms like Marktplaats, (eBay-)Kleinanzeigen or booked a holiday home via Nature.house or Micazu - chances are you’ve already met us. Our technology empowers platforms. Not just by arranging payments - it also allows platforms and marketplaces to accept, hold and disburse funds for their users. Due to our growth and to speed up the launch of new products, we want to add a Project Manager to our team. As a Project Manager at OPP, you bolster the Project Team’s capacity to take on more scope and drive progress on multiple cross-functional projects. Your primary role will be to closely collaborate with the Chief of Staff and Strategic Project Manager on projects that are key to the launch of new products within OPP. Your mission: to take end-to-end ownership of projects that contribute to the successful launch of major new products.

As a key member of the Projects team, you will:

• Collaborate directly with the Chief of Staff, Strategic Project Manager and members of the executive team;
• Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, data, compliance, etc.) to deliver high-impact projects;
• Serve as the liaison between staff, leaders and partners, facilitating seamless communication around the projects you own;
• Cultivate and manage pivotal relationships with team members, stakeholders and executives, both internal and external, to expedite action and elevate operational efficiency;
• Unite individuals towards common objectives, vigilantly monitor progress and steer required actions to ensure success.

Your track record also shows:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• 2 years of experience in a Project Coordination, Business Analyst or similar entry-level role, preferably within a technology or financial services environment;
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and how digital platforms/marketplaces operate;
• Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritize effectively and maintain meticulous documentation;
• Demonstrated ability to work together in cross-functional teams;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with technical teams, business stakeholders and sometimes external partners;
• A proactive approach to identifying potential issues, dependencies and assisting in finding solutions;
• High level of accuracy required for tracking budgets, timelines and technical requirements;
• Great interpersonal and presentation skills;
• Fluency in English.
