In this dynamic role, you will act as a Business Analyst, translating business needs into actionable solutions, and ensuring successful deployment and adoption of new technologies that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Your Department

As a Service Development Consultant, you will be part of the Global Spare Parts team within the Business Unit Supply. The Spare Parts department is globally responsible for the item portfolio management, sales, planning, ordering and delivery of the spare parts to service Vanderlande’s material handling systems. The department is divided in three teams:

  • Logistics – responsible for material planning, ordering, operational supplier management, warehousing, and outbound logistics of spare parts. You will be part of this team.
  • Sales & Item Portfolio Management – responsible for item control, portfolio management, and sales order management/support.
  • Strategy & Transformation – focusing on developing strategy and executing strategy related projects and improvements.

Your Position

As a Service Development Consultant with a focus on business analysis, you will:

  • Act as a change agent, ensuring new technologies and process improvements are successfully embedded in the organization and adopted by internal teams and customers.
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements and functional specifications for system and process enhancements.
  • Lead deployment activities, including stakeholder alignment, training, and communication strategies.
  • Monitor adoption and usage of new tools and processes, identifying gaps and driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with strategic goals.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on deploying new technologies and digital solutions.
  • Define and document business requirements, process flows, and user needs.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and feedback sessions to gather insights and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Develop and execute adoption strategies, including training, onboarding, and performance tracking.
  • Act as a liaison between business and IT, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose and user-friendly.
  • Identify and implement best practices to optimize spare parts processes and customer experience.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, IT).
  • Experience with Power BI and a strong advantage with low code automation (Power Automate and Power Apps).
  • Think outside the box mentality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on user needs and operational impact.
  • Experience in business analysis, process improvement, or technology deployment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics processes, especially in order entry and fulfillment.
  • Experience with change management and user adoption strategies is a plus.

What Do We Offer

This position offers a competitive salary range of €4.777 to €6.440,00 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). We are also opening the possibility for young graduates with a starting salary of €3.356 (more details about salary progression in the interview). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
