The Senior Learning Specialist is part of the Training Delivery team and plays a key role in the development of customer-centric learning solutions and further building of our learning environment (LMS). IBFD’s Training division consists of a team of learning & content developers and coordinators, who work with various internal and external content specialists and other stakeholders to develop IBFD’s portfolio of training products. This role directly supports IBFD’s mission to deliver world-class tax knowledge through innovative learning solutions. The previous IBFD training division has grown and is now professionalizing its digital training offering. Growth is only possible with innovation. IBFD is using its IBFD Training platform to offer learning solutions to its clients.

Tasks & responsibilities

We are looking for someone who can create (e-)learning interventions and contribute to the development of the required processes to realize the blended learning solutions (e-learnings/podcasts/animations) using new and innovative technologies. Together with the training delivery team, you will develop and implement the improvements of the educational processes and processes related to the e-learning interventions. You will report to the Training Delivery Manager and work closely with the Product Manager Training. We are using the ADDIE process for developing customer-centric learning solutions. More specifically, we are looking for someone who:

• is an L&D specialist with hands-on e-learning experience, someone who knows how to implement an educational process;
• is familiar with stakeholder management and knows how to handle a complex field of stakeholders;
• has worked with SMEs and can collaborate with them in order to create blended learning solutions (e-learning/podcasts/animations);
• likes to develop and is familiar with working in an environment where much still has to be developed (in terms of processes);
• possesses consulting skills and dares to challenge the team and the stakeholders on improvements;
• has experience with blended learning solutions;
• has experience with and/or interested in training more junior e-learning designers;
• can establish, maintain and tailor the LMS to align with the organization’s requirements including (but not limited to) establishing certifications, learning paths and engagement programs;
• is responsible for creating an optimal learning experience in the LMS for our target group;
• can design and is responsible for the set-up and interfaces with different systems used within IBFD;
• has a mindset of creating and improving processes and using the learning infrastructure to support our goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in educational sciences);
• at least 5-7 years of experience with digital tools and/or working in the role of Learning Solution Designer/Instructional Designer or similar role;
• stakeholder management skills with the ability to handle a complex field of stakeholders;
• experience with Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise and Vyond are preferable;
• experience with the ADDIE model;
• project and/or programme management experience;
• previous experience successfully implementing an LMS is an advantage;
• fluency in English, both written and verbal;
• proactive and resilient;
• experience with e-learning design and process is crucial;
• tech-savvy;
• solutions-oriented, critical thinking, problem-solving;
• excellent oral and written communication skills;
• problem solver who seeks to find and solve for the root cause of problems versus falling in love with a particular solution;
• collaboration in cross-functional teams;
• ability to work in an international environment.

Salary & fringe benefits

Job is classified in Hays Level 15, scale K.

Depending on background and relevant work experience, we offer a starting salary between EUR 4,600 and EUR 5,100 (37 hrs.), along with an attractive package of fringe benefits, amongst others:
