Introduction
Join ASML’s Metrology team, the brain behind our lithography systems. Metrology ensures powerful mechatronic modules work together with exceptional speed and accuracy. In this internship, you will help redesign how we model lens and mirror heating in our metrology simulator. Your work will make the simulator future-proof and enable better functionality design. If you enjoy writing clean, high-performing software for physics-based simulations, this is your chance to contribute.
Your assignment
You will refactor and extend the software around our lens heating simulator to create a clear separation between drift injection and drift modeling. This will improve flexibility and accuracy in predicting heating-induced drift effects.
This is a bachelor or master internship for a minimum of 6 months (flexible based on your academic requirements and availability), 4–5 days per week (2 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of February 2026.
