Join our dynamic SUS team at GMF Means & Methods as we expand and improve our global OT infrastructure and cybersecurity posture. As an OT Specialist, you will be instrumental in supporting and evolving our OT (security) strategy across all our factory sites worldwide. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to manage and secure business-managed devices and operational technology assets, ensuring continuity, compliance, and resilience in a rapidly changing threat landscape.

Role and responsibilities

  • Drive implementation and support of network segmentation across global manufacturing segments (e.g., FAB, Office, OT environments).
  • Collaborate with business representatives to intake, classify, and migrate devices—including OT systems—into segmented networks.
  • Support identity and access management (IAM) processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and hyper care during rollouts and transitions.
  • Ensure alignment with global security directives (e.g., NIS2, CRA) and internal standards.
  • Maintain and improve support processes for business-managed devices and OT assets, including backup, malware protection, and remote access.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor degree in a technical domain such as electrical engineering, informatica, or information technology.
  • Experience working with IT landscape and knowledge of IT components.

Skills

  • Strong background in IT infrastructure, network security, or endpoint management.
  • Experience with segmentation firewalls, OT systems, and support tooling.
  • Ability to work across international teams and factory sites.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IAM tools and secure software deployment practices.
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to protecting intellectual property and business continuity.
