Job Purpose

You will lead the identification and translation of consumer needs, insights, and behaviours into strategies that shape performance and brand 6Ps. In this role, you’ll turn consumer truth into action end-to-end: shaping demand-led strategy, tracking and course-correcting performance across markets, sharpening communications to build mental availability, and unlocking innovation from core renovation to market-making ideas that stretch beyond traditional ice cream cues.

You’ll champion consumer and market understanding as the foundation for strategic decisions, influencing brand choices and future growth – helping define the future of a bold, standalone ice cream company with a founder mindset!

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Consumer & Market Insights: Mine insights across consumer, category, and channels to inform business strategy.
  • Brand Performance & Growth: Steer brand performance by embedding insights to drive TMICC agenda on mental & physical availability, innovation, and brand activations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimise innovation design, communication, and in-market execution for business results.
  • Innovation & Opportunity Unlocking: Identify and unlock new growth opportunities through emerging trends, demand moments and occasions, and consumer research.
  • Learning & Best Practice: Own the learning plan and ensure insights are implemented in line with best practices. Guarantee all research outputs are actionable and strategically aligned across innovation and communication development.

What You Need to Succeed

Skills & Experience:

  • Rounded CMI experience, designing and landing with impact qualitative and quantitative studies across product, price, portfolio management, media, and shopper insights.
  • Experience in managing innovation and communication programs across countries.
  • Demonstrated experience of delivering and driving transformational action within the business through key landing points and influencing several senior stakeholders.
  • Solid proven experience of working with and manipulating multiple data sets to build rigorous analysis and recommendations.
  • Experience working both on client and agency side of consumer research.
  • Relevant academic qualifications in business or marketing.
  • Previous working experience in the FMCG industry and familiarity with research providers in the industry.

  • Persuasively communicates: You can build a persuasive argument and story articulately in written and oral English.
