What are you going to do?

As the new Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in our operations. You will be part of the Technology Operations (TechOps) department and work in a small team responsible for managing and optimizing both our own network and customer networks. Your responsibilities will include enhancing our network infrastructure, maintaining existing network equipment, and managing various VPN and IPsec tunnels.

At Triple, we operate on a project basis for our clients. Your main responsibility will be handling incoming tickets, which may involve firewall changes and NAT configurations. You will also be expected to assist and advise colleagues at all levels within the organization, from first-line employees to CEOs.

We do not expect you to know everything, but it would be beneficial if you have experience with:

  • Routing (Juniper)
  • Switching (Cisco, Juniper)
  • Load Balancers (F5, HAproxy)
  • Firewalls (Fortigate, IPtables)
  • Advanced Layer 2 techniques like STP, loopguard, UDLD, TRILL
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Netbox, Semaphore, and Python is preferred
  • Knowledge of IPv6
  • Proven experience in hosting/service provider (Linux/Windows) systems

The team

The TechOps department includes about 40 engineers and plays a vital role at Triple. As a Network Engineer, you will join one of our teams and collaborate directly with other network colleagues. Since you will work in a small team, we value proactivity and independence. You should be able to communicate effectively with your colleagues to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Occasional nighttime work is part of the role.
