  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines and integrate intelligent tests and build selection mechanisms to reduce feedback time and increase efficiency.
  • Implement automation to detect and mitigate flaky tests, dependency regressions, and slow builds.
  • Enable modular, scalable, and independent build execution across a large codebase to support multiple teams and projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers across product domains to identify build pain points and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Continuously monitor build health and quality metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive measurable improvements.
  • Introduce tools and best practices that enhance developer productivity and workflow consistency.

Who you are

You have experience in:

  • Working with build systems such as Gradle or similar, with a good understanding of build lifecycle, dependency management, and caching.
  • Applying test frameworks, test impact analysis, or flakiness detection techniques.
  • Designing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, Temporal, or similar).
  • Programming in Java, Kotlin, or Python.
  • Implementing developer-focused automation or tooling (e.g., internal plugins, build analyzers, or CLIs).
  • Working with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with developer portals (e.g., Spotify Backstage).
  • Building build analysis or observability tooling (e.g., Gradle Profiler, Develocity Build Scans).
  • Experience integrating AI-assisted systems (LLMs, internal copilots) into developer workflows.
  • Understanding of monorepo architectures and dependency graph management.

You are:

  • Passionate about developer experience, automation, and reducing toil.
  • A problem solver who enjoys improving complex systems and workflows.
  • Curious, collaborative, and comfortable working across teams.

Tech careers

Our engineers are building the first financial technology platform that combines payments, data, and financial services. We’re looking for more talented problem solvers to help us address a unique set of challenges.

We took an unobvious approach to starting a payments company, building a platform from scratch. Today, we're the payments platform of choice for the world's brightest companies. Our unobvious approach is a product of our diverse perspectives. This diversity, of backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives, is essential in helping us maintain our momentum.
