Join our Hybrid Park Team within the Revenue Management Department in Business Unit Solar & Batteries (BU SoBa) as a Hybrid Energy Systems Analyst & Developer. The Hybrid Park Team develops advanced models and analytical tools to optimize hybrid park design and operation, providing analysis for development projects and operational assets to maximize revenues and profitability.

As a Hybrid Energy Systems Analyst & Developer, you will become a core member of the team, ready to step in, take ownership, and drive results. We are looking for someone who is prepared to take responsibility early and grow into functional leadership within the team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Actively engaging with stakeholders to streamline and prioritize incoming analysis requests for Sprint planning, including aligning inputs and assumptions across multiple departments.
  • Performing model-based analyses to optimize hybrid park design and maximize profitability for both development projects and operational assets. Presenting analyses results and derived insights to stakeholders and larger audiences.
  • Developing and improving python-based hybrid park optimization models for technologies such as batteries, wind or solar farms. This involves implementing new features, improving existing functionality and adding robust testing.
  • Translating stakeholder requirements and insights from analyses into requirements and timelines for strategic planning of model development.
  • Proactively sharing knowledge to create innovation and growth within the team and across the Business Unit.

Your profile / who are you?

  • You hold an academic degree in a relevant field such as IT, renewable energies, economics, engineering, or mathematics, and have several years of professional experience in an analytical or development environment, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
  • You bring strong skills in quantitative methods, data analysis and advanced Python programming, including experience in version control, testing frameworks, and collaborative development workflows. Knowledge of European energy markets and regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
  • Your excellent English communication skills enable you to confidently work with and manage stakeholders across different functions.
  • You work independently with a result-oriented approach, high reliability, and self-motivation, while managing priorities in a flexible, remote environment. You take ownership and provide functional leadership within the team to ensure alignment and deliver high-quality results.
  • You are passionate about renewable energy and innovation, thrive in diverse, international teams, and are a strong team player with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-changing industry.
