Do you believe that sport has the power to uplift the mind? Does joining a truly purpose-driven brand align with your values? Well, then, we are looking for you.

As our Information Security Officer, you will ensure a secure IT landscape for the EMEA Region. You will identify and address vulnerabilities in the IT-landscape, perform security assessments, coordinate possible security incidents, functionally manage the Junior ISO, represent EMEA in Global security meetings, improve security awareness, and report to management.

Our perfect fit. As an ambassador of our brand, you’ll play an important role in bringing our purpose to life and reinforcing the positive message that movement uplifts body and mind.

Does this sound like you?

  • You’re a team player. Working with others brings out the best in your abilities.
  • You’re proactive. You identify and pursue opportunities.
  • You’re strong-willed. You thrive when presented with problem-solving opportunities.
  • You’re conscientious. You show great self-awareness when working with others.
  • You’re thorough. You pride yourself on your accurate and careful approach.

How you’ll help us.

Based at our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands, you will be reporting to the Manager IT Infra/WHS and as part of the role, you’ll:

  • Create a security roadmap for the EMEA region aligned with the Infra roadmap and security services & solutions designed by ASICS GSIS.
  • Pro-actively suggest and implement improvements to further enhance the security of the infrastructure and application landscape within the EMEA region.
  • Create a good security operational overview to prioritize tasks within the security team. Contribute to all EMEA and Global led projects and validate and approve to ensure it meets ASICS security standard.
  • Coach and guide the Junior ISO on the operational priorities.
  • Champion the security awareness program with creative ideas, collaborating with other regions and working closely with our partners for tailor made trainings, learnings or any other knowledge sharing methods for EMEA end users.
  • Be SPOC for any security related matters or queries outside the boundaries of incident management, providing right guidance for the requestor. In case of an actual security incident response procedure, take lead and keep track, updating the right stakeholders until the issue is resolved. Conduct retrospective meetings and put structural solutions in place if necessary.
  • Contribute to ensure all security policies and procedure related documents are up to date. This includes (but not limited to) GDPR findings, JSOX validation, BCP, application assessments etc.

More about you.

  • Qualification in a relevant field (computer science, information security, or related).
  • Several years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge and practice in security incident management.
  • Applicable Information Security related training and/or certifications, ex. CISSP.
  • Proven knowledge of GDPR-requirements (including Data Protection), NIST, preferably of the ISO 27001 standards.
  • Expert-level knowledge in the security domain is required (data breach procedures, incident management, vulnerability management, OT-security, firewalling, zero-trust architectures, SAAS-security, log analysis, digital forensics).
  • Expertise in AWS and/or Azure considered a bonus.
  • Formal Information Security related training, or the desire to attend such training sessions, soon after joining ASICS.
  • You bring experience in collaborating and coaching colleagues in the security domain.
