As a Security Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our organization’s assets, personnel, and information.

Your Role

How do you keep the lights on in the Netherlands? As a Security Specialist, you are responsible for safeguarding information security within TenneT. You prevent damage from security incidents and identify risks that could affect our vital infrastructure. Your responsibilities include:

• Implementation of the information security plan: You translate policy into practical measures and ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001 and IEC62443.
• Support during audits and incidents: You assist with internal and external audits and advise on security incidents and remediation actions.
• Risk analysis and advisory: You conduct risk assessments and advise IT/OT teams on mitigation and compliance.
• Collaboration and knowledge sharing: You work closely with GRC teams, auditors, and operations and act as a trusted advisor.
• Develop, implement, and monitor security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses.
• Respond to security incidents and provide detailed reports.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response teams as needed.
• Train staff on security protocols and best practices.
• Monitor security systems and access controls.

You will be part of the Security & Compliance team, within BTO. Together, you build a robust and secure IT/OT environment that supports the energy transition. The team fosters an open and collaborative work atmosphere, where innovation and reliability are key.

• Security expertise: In-depth knowledge of information security, audits, and compliance (ISO 27001, IEC62443).

• Relevant certifications are a plus.

Additionally, you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in IT/OT security, preferably in a complex technical environment.
• A completed HBO or WO degree in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• A recognized security certification such as CISM, CISSP, or equivalent (preferred).
• Knowledge of GDPR and DPIAs is a plus.
• Fluency in Dutch is required for this position, both written and spoken.

Hybride werken

Je hebt dus meer flexibiliteit om je werk zo efficiënt mogelijk te organiseren. En dus ook jouw privé-tijd. Je werktijden pas je daar uiteraard op aan in overleg met je leidinggevende. Ook op onze kantoorlocaties bieden we flexibiliteit met werkzones om te brainstormen, te vergaderen of geconcentreerd te werken.

Daarnaast ontvang je van TenneT een internet- en thuiswerkvergoeding. Wel zo netjes. Een ergonomische thuiswerkplek inrichten? Een keer in de vijf jaar kun je een bedrag van €900 euro ontvangen voor jouw thuiswerkmeubilair.

Mobiliteit

Ook voor mobiliteit hebben we opties. Als je zelf reist met de auto ontvang je een reiskostenvergoeding, dit bedraagt € 0,23 per k/m netto over het volledige woon-werk verkeer. Reis jij zakelijk? Dan ontvang je € 0,44 per k/m (€ 0,23 netto).

Reis je met de trein van- en naar werklocaties? Dan kan jij een OV-Business Card aanvragen voor de eerste klas. Liever op de fiets? TenneT wil haar medewerkers stimuleren om zoveel mogelijk te fietsen en het autoverkeer te verminderen. Daarom kan je ook gebruik maken van een fietsregeling. Je krijgt een vast bedrag van ons en voor het restbedrag kan jij een lening krijgen. Samen voor duurzaamheid.

Een leaseauto is van toepassing op specifieke onderhouds- en leidinggevende functies, wanneer jij > 10.000 k/m jaarlijks zakelijk rijdt óf voor overige functies wanneer jij > 20.000 k/m per jaar zakelijk rijdt. Je hebt de keuze uit een vaste lijst van auto's, of budget van € 850,- (excl. brandstof). Omdat wij klimaatvriendelijk(er) willen rijden krijg je de keuze tussen plug-in hybride of volledig elektrisch.

Ontwikkeling

Afhankelijk van jouw wensen en talenten kun je binnen TenneT snel doorgroeien. Dat moedigen we zelfs aan! Bijvoorbeeld naar een zwaardere functie of een specialistische rol. Geef als project lead leiding aan een internationaal offshore team. Of ga de diepte in als vakgroepspecialist. Jij staat aan het stuur van jouw ontwikkeling. Dus pak de ruimte om te groeien.
