Onderzoeker Complex System Modelling in het Defensie- en veiligheidsdomein | The Hague

As an Onderzoeker Complex System Modelling, you will contribute to innovative research in the field of defense and security. You will work on complex system modeling, supporting the development of solutions for real-world challenges in the defense and security domain.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with experts from various backgrounds to analyze, model, and simulate complex systems. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness and safety of defense and security operations.

  • Conduct research and develop models for complex systems in the defense and security sector.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
  • Analyze data, validate models, and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in system modeling and simulation.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science).
  • Experience with modeling and simulation of complex systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Affinity with the defense and security domain is an advantage.
