AniCura Drechtstreek is looking for a Diplomate in Veterinary Dermatology.

Our hospital is located in beautiful Rijswijk, a vibrant city in the southwest of the Netherlands. Close to Rotterdam's airport, the stunning Dutch coastline, and historical landmarks like The Hague and Delft, our location offers both professional and personal enrichment.

The Dermatology team includes a fully trained resident, technician, and is fully equipped including microscopes, CO2-laser and video endoscopy unit.

We pride ourselves on working with Diplomates in a wide range of specialties, including ECVS, ECVIM-CA, ECVIM cardiology, ECVN, ECVECC, and ECVDI, as well as their residents, interns, and senior veterinarians.

Our facility features an Emergency & Critical Care unit and a dedicated Referral Centre. Our ICU team, led by a Diplomate ECVECC, provides round-the-clock care.

We are looking for someone who

  • Is board-certified (ECVD) as a Specialist in veterinary dermatology or has completed a residency in dermatology.
  • Is quality-oriented and works according to on evidence-based medicine.
  • Is willing to learn to speak and write Dutch.
  • Has a good command of the English language.
  • Is flexible, disciplined, straightforward and has good communication skills.
  • Is open to training a dermatology resident.
