Introduction

Join ASML’s Customer Support (CS) – Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) Quality department and help us improve operational efficiency through data-driven insights. Our team ensures that service parts and tools meet the highest standards of quality and reliability before they are deployed to customer sites.

As a Data Analysis Intern, you will play a key role in enhancing the monitoring of Irregularity Reports (IRRs) across First Line and Second Line Support. You will improve dashboards, and get the freedom to come up with new solutions and tools which enable stakeholders to track KPIs more effectively. Your efforts will drive improvements in our support processes. This internship offers hands-on experience with real-world operational data and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on quality assurance.

Your Assignment

  • Develop and maintain Spotfire dashboards to visualize IRR data and support proactive decision-making.
  • Analyze and report on key metrics: number of IRRs created and closed per month, cycle time, and work-in-progress IRRs.
  • Implement interactive filters for location, parts/tools, material number, and equipment number.
  • Ensure data consistency and alignment with other datasets in the Spotfire platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate data and improve dashboard usability.
  • Document processes and create handover materials for sustainability.

This is an internship (non-thesis) for a minimum duration of 5 months. It requires an investment of 32-40 hours per week, out of which 3 days per week are onsite in Veldhoven. It is set to start in February 2026.

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and data visualization tools such as Spotfire, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Previous experience with dashboarding or reporting projects
  • Proactive and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail, and affinity with quality assurance
  • Able to communicate in English on a professional level
