As part of one of our transformation programs, we are looking for a motivated intern to support and improve internal program communications and social engagement across the organization. The transformation program involves multiple departments and stakeholders, and effective communication is key to its success. You will work closely with the program team to enhance visibility, engagement, and collaboration.

Your assignment

As a Program Management Intern – Internal Communications & Social Engagement, you will support the transformation program by enhancing communication and engagement across the organization. You’ll work closely with program leads and communications teams to create meaningful content and experiences that foster connection and clarity. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and execute internal communication plans tailored to different stakeholder groups.
  • Create engaging content such as newsletters, intranet posts, videos, and infographics.
  • Organize events, campaigns, and interactive formats to build community and shared purpose.
  • Collaborate with change managers and communication specialists to align messaging.
  • Take ownership of specific deliverables like a recurring newsletter or engagement toolkit.
  • Collect feedback on communication effectiveness and suggest improvements.
  • Support a consistent communication rhythm across the program.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communication, business administration, organizational psychology, or a related field.
  • Have a strong interest in internal communications, change management, and employee engagement.
  • Are creative, with excellent writing and visual storytelling skills.
  • Feel comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Internship details and requirements:

  • This is a bachelor/master internship for a minimum of 6 months, with at least 4 days per week (3 days on-site).
  • The start date of this internship is as of February 2026.
  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation explaining why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular.
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. If you are currently living or studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
