Communications internship: Creative Content & Strategic Planning

Introduction

The Business Performance Improvement (BPI) team supports transformation programs in ASML, focusing on helping our stakeholders achieve their communication goals. As an intern, you will support our team, which can involve working with stakeholders across the globe.

Your Assignment

Within our team, we have two internship assignments, and we are looking to hire two interns:

• Assignment 1: Strategic Planning
  • Support us in project management and planning.
  • Manage and improve our planning overviews and help analyze our KPIs to drive improvements and learning.
  • Support planning and execution of internal community building events.
  • Assist projects during (pre) production and execution phase for live, hybrid, and online events.
• Assignment 2: Creative Content-Creation
  • Create content aligned with ASML guidelines and BPI's business strategy.
  • Support channel management with creation of newsletters, change campaigns, articles, podcasts, SharePoint sites.
  • Engage in community building through Viva Engage (ASML's internal platform).
  • Create impactful communication assets (e.g. videos, infographics, presentations, or visuals) together with agencies or our internal team.

Both of these Bachelor/Master internships are for 9 to 12 months, working a minimum of 4 days per week. This internship is not suitable for a thesis. The start date of this internship is around February/March 2026.

Your Profile

To be a match for this internship, you:

• Are a Bachelor or Master student in Communications, Marketing, Media Design, Change Management, or a related field.
• Have experience with using Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Have a creative and enthusiastic mindset, and are eager to learn and keep learning from mistakes.
• Enjoy finding solutions to challenges, and aligning with multiple stakeholders.
• Possess persuasive communication skills and are proactive.
• Are fluent in English (verbal and written).

Other Requirements

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
• Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular.
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate.
• If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
