Assignment type: Graduation
Start date: February 2026
Assignment duration: 6 months
Location: Veghel
Desired study: Software Engineering or related
Language: Dutch/English
Description of assignment
Keeping software documentation clear, structured, and up-to-date is a challenge, especially in complex systems with many stakeholders. Traditional documentation often falls short when it comes to keeping teams aligned and onboarding new members efficiently.
That’s where visual architecture modelling comes in.
Using standardized techniques like C4 by Simon Brown, software systems can be visualized at multiple levels: from high-level overviews to detailed component designs. This not only improves understanding across teams, but also ensures better communication, consistency, and collaboration throughout the development lifecycle.
Your Mission: Evaluate whether a visual modelling approach like C4 can enhance our current software architecture documentation, and help us work smarter, not harder.
