We’re looking for a Customer Activation Manager ITR who can drive category growth, create standout in-store activations, and deliver brilliant experiences that delight both customers and consumers.

Your mission:
As our Customer Activation Manager, you are the driving force behind growth in our Snacking category. You’ll turn insights into action, collaborate closely with sales and marketing, and ensure that our brands shine in every store. Execution excellence is key—because when Twix, Maltesers, and Snickers are perfectly presented, everyone wins!

You’ll own category growth in your customer portfolio, advise on distribution, promotion, and POS strategies, and ensure activations deliver value for Mars, our customers, and consumers.

This role is based in Veghel, and we require at least 3 days per week in the office to foster collaboration, creativity, and connection with your team.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Lead the development and flawless execution of customer activations, from in-store displays to temporary campaigns.
  • Manage an annual display and activation budget, creating perfect store plans that bring Twix, Maltesers, and Snickers to life.
  • Embed the Snacking category strategy in customer plans and ensure excellent execution with sales teams.
  • Analyze insights on customers, categories, and activities, turning them into clear opportunities for growth.
  • Build compelling selling stories and customer engagement strategies at the category level.
  • Act as the crucial link between Sales and Marketing on guidelines, promotions, pricing, and distribution.

What are we looking for?

  • Master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in category, sales, or customer marketing within FMCG (or high-potential candidates with relevant academic background and some experience).
  • Previous customer marketing experience in FMCG is a plus.
  • Experience in international environments is advantageous.
  • Strong personality, presence, and ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Passion for snacking, customers, and categories, with the ability to inspire others.
  • Fluent in English (business level).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally abroad.
  • Leadership competencies: customer focus, accountability, conflict management, alignment, and stakeholder engagement.
