Join ASML’s Ethics & Business Integrity Team

Introduction

Join ASML’s Ethics & Business Integrity team, part of the Legal and Compliance department. We strengthen ASML’s ethics culture by promoting awareness and supporting leadership with expert advice. Our team safeguards the Code of Conduct, Speak Up policy, and Human Rights policy. In this internship, you will help us drive ethics initiatives and support projects that make a real impact across the company.

Your assignment

You will assist the Ethics Office in daily activities and contribute to projects that enhance ethical awareness and compliance. This internship offers hands-on experience in policy implementation, communication, and data management.

  • Support case management (under the guidance of an Ethics Officer) to assist with triage of incoming cases, assignment and maintenance, and extracting data for reporting
  • Monitor training completion and follow up with employees where needed
  • Assist in developing and rolling out ethics awareness campaigns and events
  • Help with policy reviews and related projects
  • Maintain ethics-related web content and coordinate updates
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and stakeholder updates

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, business administration, psychology or a related field
  • Show strong interest in ethics and business integrity
  • Are dependable, accurate, and collaborative
  • Have experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Communicate fluently in English

This is a bachelor’s or master’s apprentice internship for a minimum of 6 months (preferably 12 months), 5 days per week (minimum 3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of 01-02-2026.

Other information

Given the sensitivity of some of the documentation which the suitable candidate will be handling, we will request the following:

  1. Verklaring van Goed Gedrag; i.e. official declaration of ethical/good behavior which we can request via the Government.
  2. At least one written reference from a Professor at the university.
  3. A signed written Internship Agreement with tailored confidentiality provisions.

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
