Are you an entrepreneurial team player who loves IT?

Do you have the bright ideas it takes to bring our existing decision support systems to the next level in order to maximize our revenues? Get on board with Air France-KLM where you’ll work with the latest technologies and the best colleagues on challenging projects.

What will you do?

Together with your colleagues, you will provide valuable insights and analysis to support (senior) management and business in making complex decisions. You will maintain our current Decision Support Systems, but at the same time you work on defining and developing the next generation systems in the Google and Azure cloud.

You will be working in a Scrum/Agile environment with the latest technologies. You know the business, take care of needs and talk to many different people; from analysts to directors. As a consultant you could say that you are business, business analyst, product owner and software engineer in one. When you receive a request from senior management or have a new idea, you go for it. Possible organizational-, hierarchical- or political barriers won’t stop you. This way, you deliver continuously improving products.

We serve a broad customer base throughout the entire Air France and KLM organization. Varying from Pricing and Revenue Management to Cargo, Digital, Distribution, Sales and Offer innovation. The Decision Support Systems you’re developing will be generating insights that form the basis for achieving revenue targets. This is the reason why our team plays a crucial role in the profitability of Air France-KLM.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • You design, develop and implement Decision Support Systems, based on your knowledge of relevant business processes and operations research models
  • You look for moments that offer commercial opportunities and/or that contribute to the efficiency of the company
  • You implement new techniques in the field of cloud development, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, Gen AI and machine learning
  • You will be involved in various business projects
  • You maintain contact with various stakeholders inside and outside of Air France-KLM from your colleagues in Paris to partners who work with your systems

Where do you land?

You will join a young, international team operating in the heart of the commercial organization. You can count on 25+ colleagues of different nationalities, a positive work atmosphere and after work drinks. You will be based at our head office in Amstelveen, but you will occasionally fly to Paris and sit at the table with your fellow consultants at Air France.

Your profile

You are an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial team player that excels in a fast-paced environment. Logical thinking and analysis come naturally for you, so does IT. That's a good thing because you will develop and implement our decision support systems yourself. Existing processes are not a given for you. You’re someone who is always looking for ways to innovate or improve existing processes. Sure, changes may create some resistance, but with your continued persuasion and excellent communication skills, there’s no doubt about achieving your goals. On top of it all, you’re great at building and maintaining relationships with cultural sensitivity. Last but not least: no way will you say “no” to working on location in Paris. Un croissant et un café, and let’s go!
