Internship Buying

YOUR TASKS

What will you do?

• Sample management for all incoming samples
• Prepare all documents and samples for weekly fittings together with the Buying assistant
• Support all buying and ecommerce processes with the Buying assistant and ecommerce team
• Check bulk submissions with the Buying assistant
• Assist with different processes in our order system SAP alongside the Buying assistant
• Prepare data and product for business-critical meetings
• Provide general support to the Buying team
• Manage the sample sale project with the Buying assistant

About you!

• Able to prioritize workload, have good organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail
• Excellent verbal communication skills, able to communicate clearly, effectively, and appropriately with colleagues, suppliers, and others at all levels
• Highly motivated to learn and develop
• A creative eye and demonstration of commercial aptitude
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Currently enrolled in a study, ideally Fashion/Retail/product related

• Work From Home (WFH) Policy: For 40-hour internships, you may work from home up to 1 day per week, depending on your role. During onboarding, WFH days may vary to better support your learning and training.
• Internship Allowance: 450€ per month (gross) with 8+ holiday days (based on 40h/week).
• Travel Allowance: Max. 23€ per day (based on your travel distance), if you are not eligible for the free Student OV Chipcard.
• Additional Benefits: Access to a 25% staff discount on all Hunkemöller products, with occasional additional discounts of 25-35% on new collections. Receive a company laptop and participate in company gatherings such as Townhalls and drinks.
• Hybrid Work: Benefit from the flexibility of working from home, with a 60:40 policy based on your working hours, ensuring you can maintain productivity from anywhere.
• Hunkemöller Academy: Continuous learning opportunities and professional growth supported through various training programs and workshops.

Eligibility Criteria

For this internship, you need to be available for 5 months starting in February 2026. Your application will only be considered if you are enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship. Additionally, to comply with Dutch law, one of the following must apply:

• You are an EU citizen,
• You are on a Family/Partner visa, or
• You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, OR (2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).
