You & your role

As a Junior Dev Ops Engineer within Rabobank Investments ITops, you will be responsible for operationally managing applications within a complex banking environment. You’ll ensure that existing software systems run smoothly and that the business is optimally supported. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and develop into an indispensable part of the team.

You & your future

During the Early Career Program at Rabobank, you will work on your career by immediately starting in an operational IT role. You’ll learn the profession from the inside, receive guidance from experienced professionals, and build a strong network within the bank. After completing the programme, you’ll be ready for a permanent position as Junior Dev Ops Engineer, with plenty of opportunities to progress within Rabobank.

In this role, you’ll work with a diverse team where your fresh perspective and new ideas are valued. You’ll have the chance to develop yourself both technically and personally, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.

• Learn and grow within an experienced team

Practical Information

• Duration of the program: 18 months
• Starting date: the program starts on 1st April 2026, but it’s possible to start working with us from 2nd January

Your development as a young professional

Within this program, you will have the opportunity to get to know yourself, the field, and Rabobank. The program lasts a total of 18 months. You will start the program in a junior position within one team, participate in workshops and training modules with other juniors, and quickly gain practical experience. Together with others, there is room for creativity and initiative to organize events, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. This way, we continuously improve the program and ourselves! You will easily build a large and valuable network within the bank.

You & your talent

• Completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s IT-related study such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Engineering
• Basic knowledge of IT and affinity with operational management
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, or similar
• Experience with Linux or cloud environments is a plus
• Striving for results

• Collaborative mindset

This is what we offer you

• Gross monthly salary between €3,314 and €4,733 (scale 07)
• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
• 10% Employee Benefit Budget
• EUR 1,400 development budget per year
• Hybrid working: balance between home and office work (possible for most roles)
• A pension, for which you can set the maximum amount of your personal contribution
