NN is transitioning from Oracle Java to open-source Java to mitigate licensing liabilities starting in 2026. We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Java specialist to assist in migrating our Oracle Java-dependent applications. This role involves contributing to the transition for both server and client endpoints (Windows 11). The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Java SE specifications, Java libraries, runtime behavior, and JDK distributions, along with a strong technical background in Windows 11 and Windows Server operating systems. Experience with application vendor management is essential.

Who you will work with
You will work closely with various teams in Digital WorkPlace, including the Endpoint and Application Management team and the Packaging teams. You will also collaborate with many application owners across NN, supporting them throughout the migration process.
