What you choose to do with your career matters. And we know that. That’s why we’ve designed a program that’s just right for you – we choose the best combination of experiences for your development to nurture the future leader in you. Our development program is a two-year journey to give you the time and space to get to know us and grow as yourself. Your personal development is at the heart of it all.

Your assignments:

As a Philips Graduate Development Program Trainee, you will be located in our factory in Best, where you will work on 2 different assignments of 12 months each. This structure allows you to gain exposure across different operations departments.

In this program, you will be identifying and driving projects in various factories, including the Components Repair & Refurbishment Factory, Image Guided Therapy Factory, Magnetic Resonance Factory, and Diagnostic X-Ray Factory. You will work on projects that focus on process improvements, scalability, quality and compliance, productivity, training, planning, and more.

During this 2-year program you will have the opportunity to learn:

  • Stakeholder management at all levels and across departments: factory management, operations, procurement, R&D, quality, etc.
  • Operational excellence and gain hands-on experience in an operational environment.
  • End-to-end understanding of how a factory is sustained from all aspects.
  • Deliverables of the projects are very tangible, and implementation is key.

As you will be working closely with our employees in the factory, it is very important that you are willing to be in the factory for 5 days per week (fulltime).

You're the right fit if:

  • Recently graduated with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering (emphasis in operations preferred)
  • 0-2 years of business experience in manufacturing and supply chain within a regulated environment
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Team player, passionate for results and people, and supports our highly engaged workforce
  • Pragmatic and hands-on mentality, team player, and result-driven
  • English required and motivation to learn Dutch
  • Willing to be in the factory location 5 days a week

As a GDP trainee, you will receive a 2.5-year, full-time employment contract with excellent labor conditions.
