You & Your Role

As a graduate intern Housing Tech, you will work in an innovative environment where you collaborate with experienced professionals on advice and technology related to housing. You will be fully involved in the Housing Tech team and have the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to improving housing advice and processes.

You & Your Future

  • You will work on your career by actively participating in projects within the Housing Tech team.
  • Depending on your interests and thesis goals, you’ll have the opportunity to explore one or more of the following areas: Microservice Architecture Design, Domain-Driven Design & Encapsulation, Event-Driven Systems with Kafka, Distributed Data Management, Security in Microservices, or Developer Experience & CI/CD.
  • Collaborating intensively with experienced colleagues and young professionals.
  • Learning by doing, making mistakes, and achieving successes.

Your Development as a Young Professional

During this internship, you will have plenty of opportunities to get to know yourself, the field, and Rabobank. You will work together with other interns and professionals, attend workshops and training sessions, and build a valuable network within the bank. Creativity and initiative are encouraged, so you can get the most out of your internship.

You & Your Talent

For this internship, it is important to us that:

  • You are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • You are passionate about software architecture, distributed systems, or backend development.
  • You enjoy thinking deeply about design trade-offs and are not afraid to challenge assumptions.
  • You are comfortable working with Java (or willing to learn) and have some experience with backend development.
  • You are self-driven, communicative, and eager to learn from a team of experienced engineers.
