You and your job

In this role, you’ll mostly handle cases individually and with the supervision of a senior, focusing on bank processes involving customers, third parties, and employees potentially exposed to inherent AB&C risks. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing risks related to AB&C. As the gatekeeper for Rabobank, this role continually challenges you to contribute to and maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct and regulatory compliance.

Top responsibilities

• Handling reviews independently and with the assistance of senior-experienced analysts, when necessary
• Sharing knowledge and learnings with other analysts within the team and department
• Managing intake work independently after training

Practical Examples:

• Performing AB&C due diligence for onboarding, periodic reviews, and event-driven review cases for customers and third-parties
• Reviewing AB&C risk indicators related to customers and third-parties
• Supporting thematic investigations into gifts, hospitality, entertainment, charitable donations, and sponsorships
• Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of team processes, tools, and methodologies

The 20 colleagues of the AB&C Investigations and Detection team are responsible for handling reviews associated with AB&C triggers and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You and your talent

• A completed degree (HBO or university)
• Minimum of 1.5 years work experience within the FEC domain
• General knowledge of AB&C risks within business processes and related policies
• Understanding of the end-to-end client and third-party lifecycle within financial institutions
• A hands-on approach, a can-do attitude, and the confidence to work independently when needed
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, showing agility and adaptability, especially in a non-BAU, evolving team setup
• Applying sound ethical judgment and maintaining high standards of integrity aligned with Rabobank’s values
