As Application Specialist at Remeha, your mission is to create smart digital tools that empower our customers, internal sales teams and backoffice teams. By enhancing sales and usage processes, through applications such as a solution selection tool and a cascading tool, you’ll help them make faster, more efficient decisions or provide better tailored advice. In doing so, you will drive the overall efficiency of the sales process for our commercial solutions.

Your Role

This role focuses on building, connecting, and delivering. Based in Apeldoorn within the Development Unit Commercial, you will collaborate closely with Software Engineering teammates. You will exchange best practices, gather organizational tooling requirements, and ensure our digital tools enhance the full customer experience.

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web apps and APIs that meet both business and customer needs. Working alongside UX/UI designers, product managers, and fellow developers, you will create seamless, user-friendly experiences. Your responsibilities include building and maintaining databases, application logic, and end-to-end data pipelines, which form the backbone of our digital tools. You will also develop responsive front-end interfaces using cutting-edge frameworks, occasionally collaborating with external partners.

Ensuring every application provides high performance, reliability, and responsiveness is key. You will write clean, testable, and well-documented code to support maintainability and scalability. Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications will be part of your daily work, and you will actively stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve our solutions. You will engage in code reviews, fostering a team culture of learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Aligning local needs with global priorities, you will provide effective solutions throughout the organization.

This is a hybrid position. We value flexibility and collaboration: you're encouraged to spend at least three days per week in our office in Apeldoorn, while enjoying support for your home office set-up and travel costs. You will report to the Workstream Lead Customer Information Systems.

What You Bring

  • Knowledge of C# with .NET Core Backend (experience with Python is a plus).
  • Proficiency with SQL Server, including schema design, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with tools for version control, including Git.
  • Excellent skills in problem-solving and analysis.
  • Outstanding skills in communication and teamwork.
  • Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Knowledge in HVAC, energy, or related technical fields is beneficial.

What We Offer

  • A permanent contract
  • Thirteenth month
  • A strong pension scheme
  • 27 holiday days and 13 adv days (reduction of working hours) per calendar year based on full-time employment
  • Travel allowance
  • A hybrid role with the opportunity to work from home two days a week after the induction period.
