Your Role as DevOps Engineer

At Vattenfall, our DevOps teams respond to daily business needs and ensure that the technology behind our products and services runs smoothly. Our applications are used not only by Vattenfall employees but also by millions of customers across Europe.

IT plays a crucial role in the transition to fossil-free living—from developing apps that help consumers manage their energy usage, to maintaining the performance and security of critical infrastructure, and implementing system-wide solutions for optimal energy transformation.

Key Competence Centers

E-Mobility

In our e-Mobility projects, we’re building infrastructure for electric vehicle charging. Today, we provide access to over 60,000 charging stations across four European countries, powered by our InCharge Key card, InCharge app, and My InCharge portal.

We connect customers, infrastructure, and providers using cutting-edge technologies like Kafka, Spring Boot, Azure, and programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Swift (iOS), and Kotlin (Android).

Application Development

Our multidisciplinary teams develop new features and enhancements for web and mobile platforms used by thousands of Vattenfall employees and millions of Europeans. Whether you specialize in frontend or backend development, you’ll work with a wide range of technologies including Java, JavaScript, Vue, React, Node, Angular, .NET, and Azure.

Monitoring Operations Center

In the Monitoring Operations Center, we track and analyze the real-time performance and health of IT systems, infrastructure, and applications. Using specialized tools and techniques, we collect data, troubleshoot issues, and generate reports and alerts to ensure system reliability and availability.
