Your Role at a Glance

Minor Hotels, headquartered in Hoofddorp, operates 110 hotels across 14 countries in Northern Europe. The Quality team is dedicated to monitoring and enhancing standards across our properties. As a Quality Management Intern, you will play a key role in this mission, working across various locations and contributing to diverse quality initiatives. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders such as Quality teams and hotel directors, bring fresh ideas, support the launch and implementation of quality-related projects, conduct hotel visits, and assist wherever needed.

Examples of projects and tasks our intern is involved in:

  • Visiting hotels to assess quality, either as a ‘known’ guest or a ‘mystery’ guest
  • Preparing site visits for the Quality team, including contacting General Managers, briefing them ahead of the visit, and following up a few weeks later
  • Reviewing quality scores for each hotel in the BUNE region and coordinating follow-ups with General Managers
  • Creating a quality calendar—an action plan for all 115 hotels with 1–2 key quality initiatives each month
  • Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various hotel processes
  • Supporting miscellaneous projects such as organizing team gatherings, workshops, and events.

This is a dynamic internship where you’ll be constantly engaged and on the move. You’ll spend most Mondays at our head office in Hoofddorp, travel to cities within our Business Unit from Tuesday to Thursday, and work from home on Fridays.
