How you can make your mark

Make your mark as commercial coordinator mainly for Boskalis Offshore Heavy Lifting. The commercial coordinator is responsible for performing and coordinating sales related activities. This includes being point of contact for the department and resolving inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders as well as preparing proposals.

You are expected to work with the commercial team for establishing and maintaining relationships with our present and future clients, market parties as well as internal stakeholders.

Imagine starting the first contact in order to finally see your colleagues execute various international and ‘one of a kind’ projects which often get media exposure, such as the foundation scope for a large offshore wind farm, like the Taiwanese Changfang and Xidao project, or the installation scope of an O&G platform, like the Thien Ung topside.

Your responsibilities as commercial coordinator:

  • Support the commercial department at a commercial, organizational, administrative and project level. Also support the department with relevant market, competitive and customer information for developing the commercial and/or business development plan for the target market.
  • Gather pre-qualification and/or tender information from internal and external sources and prepare proposals.
  • Register data and documents in portal and/or digital information systems. Ensure adequate archiving and document control within the department to comply with organizational standards and requirements.
  • Act as point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, resolving inquiries to ensure client/customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor timely availability of requested information and data, and inform relevant (internal and external) stakeholders in case of any deviations.
  • Maintain contact with clients and third parties during pre-qualification, tender and commercial process.

Your qualities

  • Finished Master’s degree (preferably in Engineering) with at least 2-3 years of work experience in a sales/commercial/tendering position.
  • Preferably experience in working in a commercial environment and/or with tender processes and preparing bids.
  • Experience working in an international playing field.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Willing to travel occasionally.
