Cyber Risk Consultant

The Marsh Advisory Cyber Consulting Practice is looking for applicants for the following position to join the team based in Rotterdam (remote work possible).

We will count on you to:

• Support the design and delivery of multiple Cyber Risk Consulting projects through to their timely completion as required
• Demonstrate knowledge about evaluation and implementation of IT Governance and Compliance Audit (GDPR, DORA, NIS2, CER, NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, PCI-DSS, ITIL, etc.), industrial security frameworks (OT systems, ICS, Scada, PLC, etc.), cyber risk crisis management and continuity strategies & plans
• Collaborate across the Marsh Advisory (global and regional) community and provide expert input and contributions where necessary
• Build and maintain strong relationships with other involved parties such as Marsh cyber brokerage colleagues, global cyber teams and business partners
• Identify and contribute to winning Cyber Security opportunities at clients
• Support the execution of the local sales strategy and contribute to service promotion

What you need to have [Required Skills and Experience]:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration. Graduate degree preferred.
• Ideally 3 to 5 years of experience in Consulting
• Professional security certifications (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CBCP) would be advantageous
• Professional experience in consultancy would be advantageous
• Demonstrable understanding of technology and security principles and knowledge of cyber threat landscape
• Analytical problem-solving skills and experience, ideally gained in the management-consulting sector although other sectors could be relevant
• Experience in supporting multiple projects from inception to completion with high quality of delivery in a complex and challenging environment
• Smart, collaborative, relationship and outcome focused with the ability to make decisions where ambiguity exists
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in the prioritization of competing work assignments, escalation of issues and the formulation of solutions
• Effective organization skills with key attention to detail and delivery of high-quality documentation with the ability to implement/influence change
• Excellent English and Dutch language skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to communicate technical matters to a non-technical audience. Fluency in additional languages constitutes an advantage.
