You will develop new clinical products and supporting platforms, using the latest software technologies and resources. Become the next Product (Requirements) Owner and lead a high-performance team to establish mission, purpose, and goals for team members.

Your role:

  • Defining Requirements: Clearly and concisely articulate the functional and non-functional requirements of the product or system using BDD principles, including the use of Gherkin syntax and the creation of clear, actionable scenarios.
  • Documenting Requirements: Create and maintain a comprehensive set of requirement documents, ensuring they are accurate, consistent, and understandable, including clear and concise documentation for test scenarios, ensuring they are easily understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Communicating Requirements: Use your excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to translate technical requirements into business terms and vice versa.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that your requirements are aligned with their expectations.
  • Verify Requirements: Ensure that the requirements are feasible, testable, and aligned with the project's scope, including designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests.
  • Tracking and Managing Change: Effectively manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle, including the ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform test automation efforts and business decisions.
  • Build and lead a high-performance team, establishing mission, purpose, and goals for employees in your team. Coach the team in the use of new technology, appropriate engineering principles, design rules, and procedures, including capability management, and develop and maintain a long-term strategy on the required competencies and skills to introduce new technologies.
  • Manage content deliverables and dependencies to external suppliers.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree OR minimum 3 years of experience with a Master's degree in areas such as Software Development, Software Design and Architecture, Testing and Quality Assurance, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Track record in designing and developing medical devices/products as a product (requirements) owner with a system thinking mindset.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, and at least 3 years of experience as an architect, technical product owner, or staff engineer in an agile development environment, with a passion for software and keeping up to date with software technology and related areas.
  • Experience working in and cooperating with high-performance teams, with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, and to translate a software product roadmap into clear architectural designs and implementation. Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience with high-performance software design and development, design patterns, SOLID principles, TDD, clean architecture, and writing efficient code.
  • Hands-on and fully up to speed with modern software technologies (e.g., C++ 20, 3D rendering with DirectX/OpenGL and computational geometry), configuration management and deployment systems (GitHub, package management, orchestration tools, Docker, cloud computing).
