Join ASML’s Transformation & Digital Finance Business Experts Team

Introduction

The Transformation & Digital Finance Business Experts Team is at the center of ASML’s financial and digital transformation, managing the ERP migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA and making sure business processes run smoothly. As an intern, you will get hands-on experience with testing, validating and aligning processes across different departments. You will help solve real challenges as ASML transitions to S/4 HANA, close documentation gaps, improve collaboration between teams and make processes more transparent, especially during the most critical phases of the migration. Your work will make a real difference, helping the company go live smoothly and supporting better decision-making.

Your Assignment

As an intern in our team, you will play a hands-on role in supporting ASML’s ERP migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA. Working alongside experienced Business Process Experts, you will contribute directly to real program delivery activities. Key deliverables include:

  • Support process documentation and analysis for ERP migration and process optimization initiatives.
  • Assist in test preparation and execution, including test case creation, coordination and results tracking for end-to-end process validation.
  • Help facilitate cross-functional workshops by preparing materials, capturing outcomes and following up on action items.
  • Contribute to project reporting and dashboards, ensuring timely updates and clear communication of progress and risks.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and document best practices and lessons learned.

This is a bachelor (thesis) internship for a minimum of 5 months, at least 4 days per week (with 3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is February 2026.

Your Profile

We are looking for a student with a strong interest in digital transformation, ERP systems, and business process optimization. A background in Business Administration, Information Management, or Finance is preferred. To be a fit for this assignment, you:

  • Have a basic understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) and digital workflows (a plus).
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret process documentation and project plans.
  • Are proactive, self-driven, and eager to learn.
  • Have or are willing to develop strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Other requirements you need to meet

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship. If you are currently living or studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
