We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the team in Delft.
As a Project Manager, you will work on the definition and execution of projects for the realization of complex hardware. Together with your team, you strive to make the impossible possible.
Main responsibilities
- You manage multi-disciplinary teams of specialists and systems engineers, mainly in the area of optics, precision mechanics, control engineering and MAIT.
- You will ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- You will build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
- You will work closely with business developers on the acquisition of new projects.
Requirements
- You have a master's degree in mechanical engineering, physics or similar.
- You have at least 15 years experience working with high tech systems, and at least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager.
- You have experience in building hardware for customers.
- You have experience writing proposals.
- You are customer and result-oriented.
- You are structured but pragmatic, you can adapt your management style to the situation, and you are able to operate in an R&D environment and deal with the uncertainties that it brings.
- You have an excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
