About the Position

In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring compliance-related financial deliverables for the EMEA Inventory Hub, reporting directly to the Associate Director Entity Controlling. You will lead the execution and accurate, timely delivery of both Group and Statutory Reporting for our entity. Collaboration is key, as you’ll work closely with fellow Entity Controllers and a wide range of stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Senior Specialist Accountant, you will take on a multifaceted role that offers deep insight into our Finance organization and fosters strong stakeholder relationships. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading accurate financial reporting under US GAAP and Dutch GAAP, including monthly and year-end deliverables.
  • Executing quarterly and year-end Hub Profitability and Tax analyses.
  • Overseeing inventory management from a financial perspective, including IQV reviews and collaboration with COSI.
  • Ensuring SOX compliance and maintaining a robust control environment across financial, operational, and external business relationships.
  • Delivering on the priorities set for the Finance Team.
  • Collaborating on AtR matters with Entity Controllers and other stakeholders.
  • Driving automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting and reporting.
  • Evaluating financial impacts of complex projects, including supply chain changes, system implementations, business deals, and new global accounting/reporting standards.
  • Providing backup support to senior specialists and other team members in related areas, such as OtC accounting and control.
  • Coaching team specialists to foster growth and development.

Your Profile

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance, with 5–7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of national and regional accounting laws, regulations, and standards, with the ability to apply them effectively.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to compliance with laws, policies, and regulations.
  • Stakeholder-focused, resilient, and dependable.
  • Proven ability to build trust through consistent delivery and follow-through.
  • Skilled in influencing and coordinating teams.
  • Experience with analytic data and prescriptive analytics is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within the country.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
