For our ambitious and growing team in Bleiswijk, we are looking for an IT Engineer. Working in the IT team, you will take a leading role in delivering world class support to all team members in the Benelux across a range of hardware and software.

You will bring a positive, can-do attitude and creative mindset to solving technical issues within the Benelux. After understanding the fast-paced IT landscape, you will grow to use your unique perspective and skills to solve any support requests that come through. Over time, you will balance this work with the projects you think will impact the business and travel regularly to our sites across the Benelux to deliver a best-in-class service.

This role requires being present at our office in Bleiswijk fulltime (5 days per week). Occasionally, you may also be asked to visit one of our logistical hubs located across the Netherlands and Belgium.

This is how you’ll make an impact

  • Be the first point of contact for any support needs that arise, including onboarding/offboarding, access requests, and troubleshooting for hardware and software related issues.
  • Manage our Workplace Technologies and implement best practices, improving processes, and defining new service standards to deliver exceptional support.
  • Learn key IT principles alongside analytical skills used to build the ideal IT landscape.
  • Define and complete technical projects that will have a lasting impact on the company.
  • Gain a working knowledge of a range of platforms including Google Workplace, Azure, the Atlassian Suite, and many more.
  • Proactively improve and automate processes, ensuring knowledge sharing and team efficiency by documenting all changes and new procedures.

These are the ingredients you’ll bring to the team

  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience as an IT Support Engineer, ideally in a production environment.
  • Working knowledge of multiple operating systems (MacOS, Windows, iOS, and Android) and the latest hardware, including corporate printing solutions.
  • Understanding of corporate software (Slack, Google Workspace, Azure, Atlassian, Snipe-IT, Intune, Jamf, SureMDM).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate tech talk for any user.
  • Ability to identify relevant information from a variety of sources and actively share them with your team and others. You contribute to streamlining processes and tasks between your team and relevant groups.
  • Quantitative and analytical mindset, using data as the basis of your decisions.
  • Positive, proactive approach to tackling any issues without shying away from challenges.
  • Ability to travel to scheduled visits to other sites across Europe if needed, to work with other members of the team and provide support to the business if required.
  • Experience with LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of FortiGate Firewalls, Cisco switches, and Cisco Wireless.
  • Ideally, a valid EU driver's license.

This is our recipe

  • Freedom to initiate, execute, and implement your own ideas.
  • The opportunity to engage and collaborate with colleagues across the globe.
  • Learning and development opportunities, including a personal development budget.
  • 24 holidays per year, plus 1 day per additional year of work.
  • Option to purchase extra holiday days if needed.
  • A 250 Euro budget to help set up your home office.
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses to the office.
  • Discount on your weekly HelloFresh and/or Factor_ box.
  • Access to our FreshEnergy program, Headspace subscription, a collaboration with OpenUp for your mental wellbeing, webinars, and other events.
  • Multiple ways of getting to a work-related appointment, such as using our company cars or a MyWheels car.
  • 100% paid partner parental leave (up to 5 weeks) if your partner has a newborn.
  • Discount on your ClassPass subscription and a discount for your gym membership via Bedrijfsfitness Nederland.
  • Access to GoodHabitz with hundreds of resources for your learning and development.
  • Discount on your additional health insurance through Zilveren Kruis.
  • Healthy lunches, fruit, and snacks in the office.
  • Monthly pension scheme.
