Are you passionate about turning complex 3D data into clean, optimized assets ready for cutting-edge CGI production?

Join INDG and help global brands bring their digital products to life through high-end visualization. As a Data Prep Artist, you’ll bridge the gap between raw engineering data and production-ready CGI, enabling our creative and technical teams to build stunning configurators, animations, and interactive experiences.

You’ll play a key role in preparing and optimizing CAD and geometry data for use in visual content pipelines. Working closely with project teams, you’ll ensure that each model is technically sound, efficient, and aligned with the creative intent—making large-scale digital production possible at the highest quality standards.

What will you be doing?

  • Prepare and optimize CAD data and geometry for CGI production using tools like DeltaGen or similar 3D software.
  • Ensure that all assets are correctly structured, named, and organized according to pipeline requirements and project guidelines.
  • Manage and implement Configuration Logic within DeltaGen, ensuring seamless functionality across product variants.
  • Work with automotive and product configurators, ensuring accurate data setup and visual consistency across all configurations.
  • Clean and simplify 3D models to balance visual fidelity and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with 3D artists, developers, and project managers to align data preparation with creative and technical goals.
  • Identify potential issues early and ensure models meet specifications for configurators and interactive applications.
  • Maintain high standards of consistency and efficiency across multiple projects and product categories.

Would be amazing if you have:

  • Solid experience working with CAD data (.step, .igs and other) and converting NURBS data into 3D software tools.
  • Proven understanding of geometry optimization, UV workflows, and data structuring for CGI production.
  • Experience working with configurators, ideally in the automotive industry, and understanding of configuration logic workflows.
  • Hands-on experience managing Configuration Logic in DeltaGen.
  • A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset when it comes to complex 3D data challenges.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a cross-functional production environment.
  • Experience within the automotive, product visualization, or digital twin industry is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with pipeline automation or scripting is a nice-to-have.
