Your Challenge:

The Beauty category team within Business Grooming & Beauty is part of one of the largest beauty portfolios. Philips is a leader in this segment with a healthy business and ambitious future global plans. You will report to the Consumer Marketing Director and work in a network of various stakeholders based in the Netherlands and in key overseas markets (e.g., marketing specialists, key account managers).

Your Role

As a Consumer Marketing Manager Beauty, you will focus on:

  • Steering the integral product development process from start to end, taking initial ideas through to product development and market introduction, including communication.
  • Interacting with various disciplines including Innovation, Technology & Development departments, internal and external design agencies, manufacturing units or external suppliers, marketing management, marketing communication, and international sales organizations.
  • Maximizing the performance of already existing products and portfolios through commercial innovation whilst phasing out old or underperforming ones to optimize overall business performance.
  • Analyzing the market, competition, technology, and developments to find new business opportunities with new product-market combinations within the business strategy.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a completed Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields with an excellent academic track record.
  • You have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a (preferably matrixed) international business environment in the field of consumer marketing or product management (experience with personal care products is a plus).
  • You have experience translating market research and shopper insights into product concepts and new propositions.
  • You have a proven track record with global consumer/retail brands and the ability to work with multiple and diverse markets.
  • You are highly entrepreneurial, both analytical and hands-on in driving business growth (result-oriented).
  • You have the ability to think creatively while being decisive and able to act upon clear decisions.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with people of different seniority and backgrounds, informing, influencing, convincing, presenting, and managing projects.
  • You have business fluency in English (written & verbal); proficiency in one other language is an advantage.
