Explore Artificial Intelligence in Organizational Change at ASML

The IT Office of the CIO (OCIO) is a team of around 50 professionals responsible for driving change management across ASML’s IT organization. With over 4,500 IT professionals, ASML is continuously evolving to deliver high-quality and innovative IT solutions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to explore how Artificial Intelligence can support organizational change by identifying and implementing smart, data-driven improvements. You will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment and contribute directly to ASML’s transformation journey.

Your assignment

You will support the Organizational Change Managers in identifying opportunities where AI can optimize recurring activities and support transformation initiatives. Key deliverables include:

  • Map recurring activities and workflows within the IT organization
  • Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for AI-driven automation
  • Research ASML-approved AI tools and propose relevant use cases
  • Collaborate with team members to validate findings and gather feedback
  • Support internal communication and knowledge sharing on AI applications

Your profile

  • You are a bachelor or master student in Organizational Studies, Business, Change Management or a related field.
  • You are passionate about change and AI, and eager to learn how it works in a large organization.
  • You are a strong communicator with a proactive mindset.
  • You are curious and not afraid to question the status quo.
  • You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders.

This is a bachelor or master internship (non-thesis) for a minimum of 5 months, 4–5 days per week. You are expected to be on-site 3 days per week, and preferably live maximum 1 hour away from Veldhoven. The start date of this internship is as of February 2026.

Other requirements

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular.
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. If you are currently living or studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
